Matt has traveled all over the world presenting research, touring with students, and embarking on academic cultural excursions. Recent journeys have included Canada, Ireland, England, The Bahamas, Austria, Turkey, Slovakia, Hungary, Czech Republic, Italy, France, Monaco, Spain, Belgium, The Netherlands.  Upcoming journies include Russia, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Estonia, Lithuania, and Latvia.

In addition, as a composer and arranger, his music has been performed by hundreds of clients in all 50 states and in 30 countries spanning the five continents of North America, South America, Europe, Asia, and Australia.
