Matthew Hodge is now booking performances for his 2012 Concert Series: Contemporary Solo Piano. If you would like to bring Matthew to your school, university, or church, you may contact him through his contact page. Matthew does not charge a fee for his concerts. All he asks for is a well-tuned piano and the freedom to advertise his CDs that are available online.
Why do audiences enjoy Matthew's contemporary piano sounds? Simple. Matthew's piano style is completely opposite of what many people dread from a solo piano concert. People often see piano concerts as stuffy, boring, and non-exciting. But Matthew has earned the nickname "Piano with a Personality!" His contemporary piano style, matched with well known music that make audiences nostalgic, make for an incredible evening full of exciting music and personal moments with Matthew (yes he talks during concerts)! This is not your typical "background" piano music. Matthew's performances have led to him being asked many time by audience members "How do you play all those notes with only 10 fingers?!"
At the bottom of this page are a few quotes, so you can see what others have said about Matthew as a piano entertainer.
Matthew can perform one or more of the following concerts for your audience. A full normal concert can be as short or as long as you desire (usually a maximum of one hour). If you desire your students to hear more than one genre/style, you may pick two different concerts below and he can perform two "mini" concerts with a brief intermission in between them.
